Platforms are the future not past. As for the 'orange man bad' line, Americans showed four years ago that they were sick of Donald Trump's bullsht and they threw him to the curb. VP Harris last night laid out last night what a return of Trump threatens and offered an alternative. I do not know the answer to this, but is there historic precedent for a candidate who has never enjoyed majority support come back for a third run to win? I don't think there is.
