Yes, that was a touching moment. But that does not mean he is free from criticism. As soon as he was criticized, you went to a totally unrelated emotional issue to defend him. Totally emotional. Not in any way part of the discussion. Not any part of the topic at hand. But for you, it became THE issue on which to defend him.
