Jimmy Carter succeeded at brokering a mid-east peace deal involving state of Israel (that time involving Saddat and Egypt. Bubba busted his ass to try to broker deal with Israel and Palestine. He failed. Now Biden has 4 months or so to bring end to current conflict. Historically a very tough nut to crack. Meanwhile Trump is (allegedly) on the phone to Netanyahu gumming up the works. Netanyahu can read the tea leaves though - you would hope - and might want to take advantage of Biden's soft stance on Palestine. Harris does not have such a soft stance and likely will not bend to Israel as Biden has and certainly as orange doofus would. JUST A NOTE HERE on the persistence of this challege over 50 years. And the much wrongly besmirched Jim Carter had success where others have not.
