Which kind of touches on a subject I was curious about.

Let’s say Mizzou pays (or the NIL) pays Chris McClellan from Florida to transfer here - and he’s offered $250,000 (just picking a number out of air)

But Marquis Gracial beats him out for a starting job - and Marquis is “only” getting $75,000.

Does Marquis (or his agent) come back to Mizzou and basically say “Hey, I’m underpaid. You’re paying my backup over 3 times what I’m getting paid. I need you guys to pony up!”

I have no idea how NIL works behind the scenes - but let’s just say Gary Pinkel and Dan Devine didn’t have to worry about such things.
