On the other you have Israel wantonly ignoring US and international demands - that go back 40 years - regarding Israeli settlements on Palestinian land. So the Palestinians fought back and this time around international support falls heavily to the side of the Palestinians. SO PROTESTS at the DNC are to be expected. It widely expected that Netanyahu is out of work and likely criminally charged once he leaves power. Extending the war extends his power. This is not in the control of the Democrats or Biden. It is Biden's sole hope to get this issue resolved by January while it has been Netanyahu's hope that Trump take power - which now seems on a scale of questionable to unlikely.
