For one, Trump was bringing into play massive world war and Musk was talking about energy sources. Musk was correct in what he said about nuclear energy. Trump did not seem to understand or perhaps even know about the concept and the value that the MAD approach has served the world for the last 80 years. Thus the points were pretty muddied to begin with. And Bash seemed to say that big time spread of radiation either through war or a spill is not to be trifled with.
