Not sure it’s accurate to say Trump already has done the job so he knows the role. He mostly watched TV and played golf and tweeted various grievances, and there are countless testimonies that he didn’t understand any briefings or how anything worked and people largely ignored his instructions as the ramblings of an imbecile.

I don’t agree or disagree with Trumps takes. There is no substance and they are rarely tangently related to the topic or make any sense. I just lose a bit of faith in the human species when hearing his takes.
