people sharing the same view, patting each other on the back in a vacuum/echo chamber, sharing the same conspiracy theories or Twitter links from the same unconfirmed sources or conservative news groups with a handful of double handles (probably the same one person) trying to convince otherwise, which will never change their opinion.

It is like a rally of shared opinions, all the same, so maybe it is comforting and a safe space for those with the same opinions?

It is pointless to anything meaningful. But a good place for mods to move things to in order to keep the football, basketball, and all sports board from getting off topic and the Shack from being a place to just be regular nonsense
