a time when these “discussions” (here) were ever unemotional or even rational. Pretty much reflects the comments I hear when I’m playing golf with the groups I’ve been active with for 30 plus years.
What I find most intriguing (and We can’t know the specific personalities of the posters as we do our golf friends) is how individuals cloak themselves in the uniform of one side or the other even as I’m wholly confident that some of the policy positions of their preferred political candidates run against the very evident personal beliefs of those same individuals.
