But Trump has never been in stronger position to win a second term. And so much of his advantage at this point has to do with what dems have done in their obsession to "get Trump" more than what Trump has actually had to do to gain the advantage. Giving in to bitterness and anger clouds judgment and leads to needless missteps. In this case Trump is benefiting bigly from just that.
