I’m not sure Trump even could articulate the factors that impact inflation or what levers are at his disposal. He certainly isn’t going to even attempt to lower it and if he were elected inflation would almost certainly skyrocket. It would be pretty funny to hear his explanation of what inflation even means.

I’ll bet a secure border is something he hopes to work on first. Maybe he could try and build a wall.
