If Drink tried to be someone he wasn't he would be a utter failure. Him leaning into his fun loving Geek personality makes him come across as real as opposed to a phony trying to be a stereotypical coach. Kids and Fans respond to that and buy in.

But yes if you are a fan of another team it would be grating and that Makes it even more wonderful for us.
