The federal government has been, for decades, its own unchecked animal that at this point can't be controlled.
I mean, yeah, different executive orders may depend on the nominee, and minor changes in border policy, federal oversight, rule changes, etc. may happen but these people are all players in the same game. The fall of Rome started way before Trump.
