to Peter, the Rock upon which Our Lord built His Church. They have done far better than all of the other denominations who split off from the Church, however, and have maintained the Apostolic succession of their priesthood.

Unfortunately, since they no longer have any central authority, it has caused more divisions & made it easier for them to reject a couple of important parts of the Sacred Deposit of Faith, handed on by the Apostles to their successors to safeguard for the Church.

One of those is the prohibition against divorce and then remarriage. Another is artificial contraception.

The Church IS facing its greatest crisis in its history right now, it seems to me. "Pope Francis" is intentionally trying to destroy the Church. But I think he is an imposter and a wolf in sheep's clothing.
