in advance of delivery to the graduates? I would assume they do a thorough vetting. Afterall, this person is presumably representing the school's perspective and values.

If this is true, why is there seemingly no outrage directed towards the Benedictine administration who agreed to this presentation?

If they allow the speaker to wing it and say whatever they want, then that's a different problem.
