Well, I agree the better developer of talent would be Ou, compared to Texas... I mean that..but the offers from Texas were on the table last week..and that is verified..twice..from non Texas sources. To be fair...it was told to me...this kids agent/uncle/ whatever and his mom..um...played the game very well...and if he wanted the ut.ist money AND attend Ou ..then he did it very well. VERY WELL..cause the sources say he balked at 1.5 Million and left town..and I know on the Mizzou end...we are..as they say.."Open for business". I wanna stress
..I wanted this young man here..we got our NIL rolling..but 2.2 million for one guy (supposedly) is way too much for anyone not named Manning..that is a fifth or sixth of almost all college budgets right now.

Again, I don't doubt he wanted Ou over Bevo..& I give Texas boards no weight..but he better remind people of Leroy Selmon real quick..or he will be a money pit, and team issue real quick... especially if gets outplayed by Jackson and Stone and doesn't start.
