the same thing i was hitting, just stronger lofts. I honestly didn't want new irons that bad, more than anything I needed to go to a weaker shaft as I can't hit the heavy/stiff shafts in my old Mizuno's. My son is just getting in to golf, he's a lot younger and more supple with way more swing speed so my old irons are a good fit for him.
I've never liked Callaway Irons in the past because they're always offset, these Ai's are not like that, very traditional looking. The only thing I don't like about these is they look a little like blades and don't have a great sound to them. They're pretty easy to hit though. I struggled to hit Pings the most, hit nothing but pull hooks with them, same with Taylor Made.
