LoL....Overland Park had a DEI hire before DEI was a thing.

She had experience working for some federal agency. I used to help out at JOCO police academy situational training being a "bad guy" but my wife had heard enough thru the grapevine she said I should sit this one out.
So they were doing their training and every session starts with a weapons check. No live ammo, period. It all gets left in your car. So they break for lunch and everyone loads their guns. Comes back from lunch, everyone goes thru weapons check again except she returns late and is just starting a situation and the evaluator stops everything and checks her gun. Full mag and one in the pipe.
She ended up failing the academy class for other reasons and OP is beside itself. They've never had anyone fail and they are thinking she'll have to repeat and be a retread. They fear letting her go because she's black and don't want a lawsuit but they finally decided to cut their losses.
