does the quick math include splits and dividend reinvestment?

Apple stock was $5.99, on December 31, 2007

Divided by $20,000 you own 3,338 shares. Not accounting for reinvested dividends, a stock split of 7 for 1 turns 3,338 shares into 23,366 shares. Another stock split of 4 for 1 turns that into 93,464 shares..

The current price is around $160, which would make those shares equal to about $15 million. This doesn't include dividend reinvestment. Apple paid some huge dividends from 2012 to 2014($2.50 to $3.30 per share range), that if reinvested would have really bumped up share ownership before the splits started happening. I am not going to do all that math though. Math was my worst subject!

Here is their dividend history. Scroll down to 2012.

I don't think it gets anywhere close to 206 million, but it is enough to retire on..
