We all knew the 23-24 frontcourt was awful. I wanted to see statistically if 23-24 would stick out as such. This is basic: I tabulated all "4's" and "5's" with at least 300 minutes played, added the minutes, points and rebouds, and then determined the per 40 minutes for scoring and rebounding. The mutigers website went back to 2012-13 which had a good frontcourt, so I used that as a desired productivity.
2012-13 Oriakhi, Bowers, Criswell
pts/40 17
reb/40 11 (Heighest)
2019-20 Mitchell, Brown, Nikko, Tilmon (Kim's 1st year)
pts/40 12 (tied for lowest)
reb/40 9
2021-22 Brown, Degray, Brazile (Kim's 3rd and final year)
pts/40 14
reb/40 9
2022-23 Brown, Carter, Shaw (Gates Year 1)
pts/40 18 (Highest)
reb/40 8 (tied for lowest)
2023-24 Carter, Vanover, Shaw, Butler, C-Martin
pts/40 12 (tied for lowest)
reb/40 8 (tied for lowest)
... kind of interesting. Yeah, it was bad. Can 2024-25 be 15/10 at least?
