Probably one of the worst vacations I've been on

the Myrtle Beach golf trip was not a success. Travel was long and delayed, clubs initially got lost, but wound up finding their way before the first tee time. I then got deathly ill the Saturday of the trip, and traveling for 9 hours while sick might be the worst thing ever. The kick in the nuts is the courses were in pretty sh*tty shape, but that's on us for trying to find a good bang for our buck. Overall, thumbs down for Myrtle Beach. I know there are nice courses there that are expensive, but it's just not an easy place to get to from KC. Next golf trip will either be within driving distance (much easier when taking your own clubs), or a direct flight. PGA Frisco seems enticing for a spring/fall golf trip. Of course, there is always Branson. The one bonus is I lost 5 lbs in the purge.
