He's well enough off to where it doesn't really matter who the president is or what their policies are. He likely lives in an area where an uptick in property and violent crime overall won't impact him. He's likely got enough money to where 800 for 6 months of insurance vs. 650 is couch cushion change.

If said policies affected him directly, he may think differently. And this isn't a rip on Jack. This is the case for most people in his shoes.
