My internship out of Mizzou was with KY 99.7 in KC. Just for a summer until my real job started.

He was cool. A disc jockey for years in KC

One day a couple weeks in he says instead of coming into the station on Friday we are going to do a remote at a bar in Leavenworth. The sound guys will drive us there and back, and drinks are on the house.

We get there and he said your only job tonight is to convince as many chicks as possible to participate in a wet t-shirt contest. I said cool.

I did well, and had about 12 or so enter to win $250 cash. Mind you this was 25 plus years ago…can’t remember the name of the bar.
