level recruits while probably keeping the ones Gates already brought. Cal also probably has a good 5-6 years left in the tank. I think it was a great hire by Arky.

Dennis Gates' ceiling was cut in half when he went 0-19 in conference play. I'm sorry, but that is hard to do.

Give me Cal all day long, and if Gates goes elsewhere and becomes amazing so be it, but it sure doesn't look like that is going to happen.
