Through three airports today heading for Europe. Wearing a black Nike cap with our tiger oval on it. Nothing fancy And some other clothes…. Three random strangers have passed me and said either “go Mizzou” or “MIZ” as they passed. I smiled and returned a ZOU…

My take. 1. Alden gets tremendous credit for embracing and pushing the “MIZZOU” change and the tiger oval. It was one of the most successful rebranding campaigns ever. Fiorget the block M. People recognized that tiger oval.

2. You beat Ohio State in a major bowl Game and it draws millions of viewers and people remember. They remember because most everyone hates the Buckeyes and they were stunned we won.
