get the best players he can for next year in the portal. If we do not have a winning season next year, he will likely be fired anyway. He is not worried about if freshmen or sophomores leave due to lack of playing time. If the freshmen and sophomores are not good enough to take minutes away from the portal guys, that is their problem. What did they do to make themselves better over the summer? Did they develop strength and an ability to actually play? Most freshmen and sophomores are not skilled and strong enough to be studs in college basketball. That is why they are not usually starting on good teams UNLESS they are 1 and done type players.
