four are getting kind of thin (since 1939 and not counting those vacated). 2 of the teams are in the elite 8 this year and another might be there after today. I count 17 teams that have not been.

SEC: Vandy, Missouri, A&M, Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama
Big East: Xavier and Creighton
Big 12: TCU, UCF and BYU
PAC-10: Arizona State
B1G: Nebraska and Northwestern
ACC: Clemson, BColl and Va Tech
