The steepness of the sideline stands is determined by the steepness of the concrete “floor” under the seats. The only realistic way to increase the steepness of the East and West stands is to rep our the underlying concrete.
The stadium has just under eighty rows of seats in both the East and West stands. If you increase the vertical distance between rows by three inches, that’s a twenty foot increase in the vertical height of the sideline stands. If you increase it by six inches, that’s basically a forty foot increase in the vertical height of the sideline stands.
Increasing the height of the sudelibe stands raises a number of issues, I. E. how will it impact the private suites and press box above the West stands and the upper deck above the East stands.
Frankly given the age of the stadium the best course may be to demolish and replace it.
