section instead of rich people who don't show up for games. Smaller venue, well thought out production and traditions. Culture of students showing up for the games.
I went to SMSU in the 1980's. Arena was around 60% of the capacity of the Hearnes center, 2-5 blocks from every dorm. Team was good back then, doing exciting things like going to division 1 and then going to and winning their first NCAA game, and there wasn't much else in Springfield. It was a lot of fun.
