I don't agree. Without East this team lost to NIT teams

by 20+ at home. KA's last team was much more competitive than that. Last 11 games of KA's final year:

Beat Arky by 5
Lost @aTm by 3
Beat Vandy by 20
Lost to Alabama by 3
Lost @ TN by 20
Lost to UK by 10
Lost @ Ole Miss by 3
Lost to aTm by 17
Lost @ Auburn by 11
Beat Auburn by 3
Lost to Ole Miss by 12

2 stinkers in there but generally in or won the other games. That also puts to bed that the team didn't fight for KA. They did to the end. They just weren't good.
