fanbases are deeply retarded at this point.

The top ten of 'ways to have a successful program' are, every single one, NIL.

If owners, which now means the fanbase and marginally the athletic department, aren't ready to fund then welcome to an Oakland A's reality and a mid-major future.

You fund and just about anyone can be AD and just about anyone can be coach.

You fail to fund and no amount of 'personnel excellence' is going to overcome it.

At least it's the free market where each fanbase gets to decide how good the product is going to be: could be worse, Jerry Jones could own the Missouri Tigers and also be 'GM'. LOL!
