I've met quite a few. I'm sure there are exceptions, but the ones I've met bust their asses and are looking to truly have a better life and to make a living for their families.

That's their singular focus.

Most would never even try to vote because they are either apolitical or even if they wanted to, they'd fear they'd be outed as being illegal. They don't rock the boat and they live mainly in the shadows.
