Their contribution to our defenses would be no more substantial than what they brought to our global wars on terror in the ME. IOW, not that significant. The Brits are the only nation with naval and sealift capabilities substantial enough to come to our aid. However, GB as it stands today could not contribute more than one combat brigade. And that would number less than 50,000 soldiers. Nato isn't structured for foreign intervention.
