Is evidence the coaching staff understands and values post play. Carter is currently the only big capable of playing that way consistently.

It’s not, at least not yet, in the wheelhouse for the other bigs. Shaw is getting better and showed a bit Saturday. Pierce and Butler’s strength is mobility. They’ll get stronger and be more capable in the future.

Asking them to do things they can’t yet do is good for neither them nor the team.
