But his answer was disingenuous, weasel worded, and seem to re-define or reimagine the way government is funded.
How can you say that:
ALL taxation is theft,
recognize that taxation funds the government,
say that he wants smaller government not the elimination of it
and not understand that he is for taxation, even if in some minimal form?
Unlike his cheerleaders, he is an intelligent man. Too intelligent to believe the crap that he is saying. He is a charlatan.
All he would have to say in my opinion is that SOME taxation is theft. Or that TOO MUCH taxation is theft.
But he wants to have it both ways. Taxation is necessary to fund the government that he wants, but taxation is theft.
Then he will tell us that he is for small limited government, but all taxation is theft. But he is against theft in the form of taxation.
