have said for years every bowl is meaningless and have been pining for 12-16 or 24 team playoffs.

I’m just saying these big time teams that are loaded with draft picks will have a ton of players sitting out. Not playing in a bowl game gives them a six week start in preparing for the draft, getting an agent starting to work on practicing the combine drills etc.

A team like Tulane will probably have everyone playing. But that’s just a guess I’m not that familiar with their roster
