Seattle is also one of the most over-governed places in the US.

It's not a libertarian haven. It's about as far as one can get from that.

My ideal governing structure would be a small federal govt, constrained to explicit powers, with all other powers delegated to small, more local jurisdictions. I'd want this govt to be enshrined with Enlightenment values including the recognition of the natural rights of life, liberty, and property.

The real life example is the United States of America, but not what it has become.
