salaries have skyrocketed over the years, so will player salaries. It's only a matter of time, and at some point programs like Mizzou (barring a generous billionaire donor) are going to be priced out of the market for top talent. It's still early so that hasn't happened yet, plus the recent legislation gives us some temporary advantages.
But long-term, the current "NIL" unrestricted payroll system isn't sustainable for college football. There will need to be reform.
