Thankfully the park officials overrode the desires of the Bambi lovers and hired sharpshooters to eliminate the numbers back to the carrying capacity of the park. Too suburban for a closed park controlled hunt and not rapid enough for a closed park archery season.

They have few natural predators and man has to fulfill that role....unless suburbia wants mountain lions released in the area.
