Hawley seems to be lining up for a POTUS run in 2028 assuming we are still a country holding elections. He apparently realizes that the GOPe brand is on its last gasps. He's positioning himself for the MAGA block with crossovers to disaffected dems and independents - as Trump did and is doing.
And Obama's third term is so damaging these blocks are just growing.
