Was one major wire service to put out the lie and everybody ran with it.
It was a report from Hamas spokes people to Al Jazeera to the New York Times. I think I have that right, not sure.
Nobody questioned it nobody asked who the first source was. Any chance to slam Israel was received eagerly and without questions by the media.
