adamantly desperate before Mizzou announced that we were leaving for the SEC. But years later when Gordon Gee, President of tOSU, let the cat out of the bag and revealed that Mizzou and kU had been considered as a package deal for membership in the B1G, it became obvious to me. When MU took themselves out of consideration, possibly because of not receiving a full share for years, she realized that kU was going to be left holding the bag with no other alternative. No wonder she was so overwrought with emotion.
I feel that becoming a member of the SEC was the best thing to happen for Mizzou athletics since the Tigers first started playing football in 1891, but to put 2 and 2 together and finally realize that we screwed that institution to the west of us in the process makes it doubly satisfying.
I agree that we should never play those whiny, cheating, poor excuses ever again.
