Eventually the plan will be to fill holes in the roster with transfers. There were just too many holes at the time of his hire to go all in on prep recruiting.

Kansas won a title 1.5 years ago. 6 of their top 7 rotation players were prep recruits.

UConn won it last season. 5 of their top 8 were prep recruits.

2 years ago Baylor won the title. 5 of their top 8 were prep recruits. The transfers were all in their 3rd year at Baylor.

Virginia won the title before that. 7 of their top 8 were prep recruits.
