How are they better? I don't see much in their stats

they can't seem to run the ball (average about 100 per game in their stats, 40 against the vaunted Hawaii D). They appear to be somewhat opportunistic on D - the games that they've won or stayed close in featured 2-3 turnovers by their opponents. They had a nice rushing total against UT, but that game was 56-0 and hardly representative.
