I always felt Gabbert never got the shot he deserved. He was snakebitten with coaches and coordinators who couldn't/wouldn't teach him or got fired before they could. Every single year a new system or jew approach. I was concerned when he was signed as the backup knowing how good Chad Henne had been. He would have been a great starter in this league if Andy had been his coach at the beginning. Jack del Rio is an a$$hat. The fact that he's still teachable and showed in preseason games this year that he still has the ability to be effective, gives me confidence in a league focused on knocking Mahomes out of the game.
