On the road again, against Auburn, 6:30 pm on SEC Network +.
Great opportunity to start SEC play 2-0, prior to taking on #22 Georgia and #11 Arkansas at home in the next two games after tonight.
Really need to rack up wins over the lesser teams on the remaining schedule. We will have 4 great opportunities in SEC play to get signature wins (or at least ties) against nationally ranked teams, and all of them we get in Columbia:
7 SC
9 Alabama
11 Arkansas
22 Georgia
Auburn was picked to finish 10th in the preseason poll, just ahead of us. They are 4-3-2 so far on the season, no significant wins, losses to Wake Forest 2-0, Ohio St 2-0, and Miss St 1-0.
