Loses 26-24, 25-19, 25-11.
Had a 16-12 lead in the first set, but couldn’t hold on and lost it 26-24. Great effort. After that it was downhill, got progressively worse, then got run over in the third set, was down at one point 22-9, barely got into double digits.
Didn’t expect to win this match, and we played a great first set. Wish we had been more competitive overall, particularly in set 3.
Now we get someone more our own size when we take on SC at the Hearnes Center at 3pm Sunday.
