For the upcoming 2023-24 season, updated today.
Not kind to Mizzou.
7 SEC teams predicted to make the field:
1 seed: LSU
2 seed: SC
3 seeds: Ole Miss and Tennessee
6 seed: Miss St
7 seed: TAMU
11 seed: Arkansas
Also, Alabama is picked as one of the first 4 teams out.
Among our non conference opponents, Kansas St is a 6 seed, Illinois is a 7 seed, and Virginia is in the first 4 teams out group.
No mention of:
Mizzou
Georgia
Kentucky
Florida
Auburn
Vandy
No big surprises here, although I expect Mizzou to be projected in the 9-10 range in the SEC coaches preseason poll, but challenge teams like Miss St, Arkansas, TAMU and Alabama for the 5-8 range by the end of the season. And yeah, that’s assuming (hoping) an awful lot goes right with the new players and a lot of question marks get answered positively.
