Mizzou SEC VB schedule...

Kind of a lopsided schedule for VB, which opens tomorrow on the road at #14 Tennessee. I don’t expect to win this match, but am hoping we compete well and maybe steal a set (or two).
Tennessee looks like a legitimate top 20 team. They are 9-1, with their only loss being a nail biter 3-2 loss on the road against #1 Wisconsin. Not a super tough schedule overall, but did beat Marquette 3-0, who was ranked in the top 25 earlier and currently is #27.
The overall schedule is strange.
5 of the first 7 games are on the road. That's rough. The 2 home games in that stretch are SC and #22 Kentucky. Road games include Tennessee and Arkansas, plus TAMU and LSU. We could play really well in those first 7 games and still come out 3-4 at best, maybe 2-5.
Then we have 7 of the next 9 games at home, including one stretch of 5 straight at home at the Hearnes Center. Jeez, who set up this schedule? The home games, where you would think we could make some hay, include Florida and Tennessee, plus Auburn and Georgia. We have to go at least 5-4 in this 9 game stretch.
Because...our last 2 games are on the road, against Kentucky and Georgia, probably 2 losses.
Rough road for a team in recovery mode.
