Watched the Kentucky match but not the Florida one yet. Tough break if she is out any length of time. Yes, Dixon has really flourished at Florida, not that she wasn’t really good here. But there she doesn’t need to be the #1 person, and, the move to the middle was perfect for her with the supporting cast there including their super freshman.
And yes, watching teams like Nebraska and Kentucky play, it’s just at another level, the way they can dig absolute cannon shots and keep rallies alive. Hopefully in a year or two Mizzou can at least get back to the level where they could compete with teams like that.
Hard to believe the National champ this year is not going to come from just 5 teams: Wisconsin, Nebraska, Louisville, Florida and Stanford.
